As a general point I agree with you Nick. We must make our hymns as biblical as possible. Sometimes, however, I think we can understand what lyrics which, though not brilliant, are getting at. Don't you think, 'and as I worship build a throne' is similar to a refrain of the psalms - a call to 'exalt' the Lord.
